Power of the Vote
9 Weeks from Election Day
In 2022, 435 House seats, 34 Senate seats, 36 governors, 30 attorneys general, 27 secretaries of state, & 6,166 state legislators are on the ballot. Voters across the country will weigh in on races for office and ballot measures, some in districts that have been redrawn since the 2020 census and many amidst changes to voting procedures due to the pandemic. Will participation surpass the 2018 midterm election turnout rate of 54% of voters? It depends on whether the people know the power of their vote.
The following templates are meant to help you and your nonprofit begin to engage your staff, volunteers, members, clients, and community as potential voters by lifting up the power of the vote. The templates also provide tangible steps for them to get involved in the democratic process.

As of this email, we are about 9 weeks from the 2022 midterm elections that will be taking place across the country on November 8th. While 2021 may have been a comparatively slower election year, the 2022 midterms will determine the outcome of [add state-specific information here OR 435 House seats, 34 Senate seats, 36 governors, 30 attorneys general, 27 secretaries of states, and 6,166 state legislator seats, as well as scores of local elected officials and ballot initiatives].
